The Rotary Club of West Ottawa acknowledges that we gather, live, and work on the traditional, unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe People. For thousands of years, the Algonquin People have cared for and lived in relationship with this land, and we recognize their enduring presence, knowledge, and stewardship.

As Rotarians committed to peace, reconciliation, and community service, we honour the resilience and contributions of Indigenous Peoples in the Ottawa region and across Turtle Island. We commit ourselves to walking together in friendship and respect, fostering partnerships that advance learning, understanding, and healing.

A Message from President Ginette

Welcome to the Rotary Club of West Ottawa.  We have an exciting 2025-26 ahead!...

We are a club rooted in nearly 70 years of history and tradition with many effective and established programs and initiatives. Even so, as our membership continues to grow, we're launching new creative programs for youth, access to literacy, and financial readiness tools, and initiating events to showcase the many groups that form the Ottawa community, as well as profiling community resources on youth mental health for caregivers.

Please explore our website to learn more about us, to check out our projects and initiatives, and connect with us. And come to one of our weekly Tuesday meetings!

Together, we will make a lasting difference.

Yours in Rotary
Ginette Thomas
President 2025-26
