November 20, 2025: Our Shoebox Party brought Rotarians, friends, and youth volunteers together in a joyful evening of fellowship and giving. We crushed our original goal of 50 boxes; thanks to generous hearts we packed 73 beautifully filled shoeboxes for women in our community.
Our Rotary Shoebox Party was an evening filled with laughter, teamwork, and compassion as Rotarians, friends, and family came together to pack gifts for women in our community. We shared stories, holiday treats, and plenty of good cheer; the room was full of warmth in every sense.
One of the sweetest parts of the evening was seeing youth volunteers get involved. From enthusiastic teens to perhaps our youngest future member at just eight weeks old, it was a beautiful reminder that service can truly span generations.

Shoeboxes of Kindness: 73 Gifts of Hope
We started the night with a bold goal: 50 shoeboxes. Thanks to the generosity of our Rotary community and beyond, we did much more. By the end of the evening, we had lovingly packed and labelled 73 shoeboxes filled with practical items, little luxuries, and handwritten messages of care.
Each box represents kindness for a woman who may be facing a difficult season; together they carry a powerful message that she is seen and valued.
Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated items, packed a box, invited a friend, or helped spread the word. Your generosity turned a simple idea into a tangible expression of love and support for women in our city.
