March 26, 2026: Supporting families starts with conversation. For the third year, the Rotary Club of West Ottawa is proud to support Prepared & Positive, a free community event led by PLEO that helps parents and caregivers navigate youth mental health with greater confidence. Through expert speakers, practical workshops, and a community resource fair, this half-day forum creates space for real questions, real connections, and real support.

Prepared & Positive brings together parents, caregivers, and professionals in a welcoming, accessible environment designed to answer the questions many families are already asking: What should I do? Where can I turn? How can I best support my child? Participants will hear from experienced speakers, engage in interactive sessions, and connect directly with local organizations offering support services for children, youth, and families. The goal is simple and powerful: to equip caregivers with practical tools, trusted information, and a sense that they are not alone.
The Rotary Club of West Ottawa is honoured to support this important initiative and grateful for the continued leadership of Marcia Armstrong and the Youth Services Committee, whose original vision and ongoing commitment have helped bring this event to life. Now in its third year, Prepared & Positive continues to grow as a meaningful point of connection for families across our community. We extend our sincere thanks to PLEO for their expertise, partnership, and unwavering dedication to supporting parents and caregivers across Eastern Ontario.
