Meant to Be: A True Story of Might, Miracles and Triumph of the Human Spirit

As an inspirational speaker and author of Meant to Be: A True Story of Might, Miracles and Triumph of the Human Spirit, I am interested in being a guest speaker for the Rotary Club of West Ottawa to share the story of my book. In my multi-media presentation I share the awe-inspiring true story of my parents’ amazing survival, faith and triumph as two prisoners of war in opposite sides of the world who survive in the most extraordinary of circumstances and find true love against all odds. My mother survived the Holocaust in Nazi Europe while my father survived the Nagasaki atomic bomb in Japan. The story was the subject of a Gemini award-nominated television documentary and my book is currently being adapted for production as a feature film. When my father passed on June 15th of last year, he was recognized as the last Canadian POW Nagasaki atomic bomb survivor. He was featured on CTV news and in Macleans magazine.
