Our order for Fall 2018 presentations of books to almost 1,800 Grade 3s in Ottawa, Prescott (Brockville club supported), Cornwall, Napanee, Smiths Falls, Kingston, Eganville, Montreal-Lakeshore and Arnprior will be on its way soon from Dubai. How exciting!

Seven other Ottawa Rotary clubs participate.  They are Nepean-Kanata, Orleans, Ottawa, Ottawa Bytown, Ottawa South, Ottawa-Stittsville and South Nepean.

Rotary Clubs of Brockville, Kingston-Waterfront, Napanee, Cornwall-Sunrise, Smiths Falls, Eganville and Arnprior and Montreal-Lakeshore joined the District D4L project over the past few years.

And the project expands again in Canada.  Port Coquitlam, BC has been delivering the D4L project for many years and their 2018 order is for 2,610 books for 4 clubs. Outstanding! Further, former West Ottawa Rotarian Susan Fisher has introduced the project to District 7810 and will have 4 Rotaract clubs present 110 books to Sackville, NB students. Great work Rotary Club of Sackville and Susan in particular.

Our literacy project continues to be augmented with the Ottawa Reads initiative wherein a team of volunteers read to students at Agincourt Road and Regina Street Public Schools.
